How COFICOM Agro Commodities handles personal data when you use this site or send us an enquiry.
1. Who we are
COFICOM Agro Commodities exports Indian green coffee to roasters, importers and distributors. We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us the data controller.

2. What we collect
If you send an enquiry, we collect your name, company, business email address, country and message, plus your phone number, coffee interest and estimated requirement if you choose to give them. If you write to us directly, we hold that correspondence.
Our hosting provider also records ordinary server log data when a page is requested, including the IP address and the browser reported by your device. We use that only to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
We do not process payment details through this site, and we do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please do not send us any.
3. Why we use it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, send samples, quote, and negotiate and perform a supply contract. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, our legal basis for that is Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before a contract and performance of it.
We also keep records of trades, shipments and export documentation because tax, customs and company law require it, which is Article 6(1)(c), and we keep the site secure and filter spam on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). If we send an occasional trade update to an existing contact, you can tell us to stop at any time.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not make decisions about you automatically.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data while we are in discussion with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, so a conversation that resumes in a later season is not starting from nothing. Records of concluded trades and export documentation are kept for the longer periods that tax, customs and company law require, then deleted.
7. Your rights
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or erased, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to use based on our legitimate interests, object to marketing at any time, or receive it in a portable format. Similar rights apply under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as it comes into force.
Write to admin@coficomagro.com.au and we will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are first.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to a data protection authority, which in the European Economic Area is the one where you live or work, and in the United Kingdom is the Information Commissioner's Office. We would rather you came to us first so we can try to put it right.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. Questions go to admin@coficomagro.com.au or to the address in section 1.
